|Duties:||NOTE: This vacancy is open only to employees of Alamance Community College!|
Provide administrative support for Office of the President and Board of Trustees; assist in collecting and preparing materials for board meetings; attend and record minutes for board meetings; maintain the presidentís calendar; archive permanent records and maintain office filing system; generate correspondence and mail merges; answer and screen telephone calls; greet and screen visitors; compile contact information for various purposes; assist in planning and setting up for special events; convert to electronic format, disseminate and archive news articles; serve on committees; maintain confidentiality for all aspects of work functions; attend graduation and organize graduation attire for trustees; and perform other duties as assigned.
Required: Associateís degree with course work emphasis in secretarial science, business administration, office technology, office administration, and/or personal computer operations. Supplemented by one (1) year previous experience and/or training involving: secretarial work; office administration; record management; customer service; use of Microsoft Office 2007/2010 and Adobe Acrobat software; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute. (A performance test to determine keyboarding speed will be administered.)
